Description

BP Visco 2000 15W-40 is an engine oil from the Visco 2000 line for petrol car engines in everyday driving. The product data sheet also cites a diesel category, so it can be used where a diesel class is specified for this viscosity.

It is classified to API SP and API CF. The data sheet lists no ACEA classes and no official vehicle manufacturer approvals.

The 15W winter rating means that cold starts in hard frost are more laboured than with thinner grades. Typical figures from the data sheet: kinematic viscosity 14 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 133, pour point -36 °C, sulphated ash 0.70 %.
