Description

Castrol TRANSMAX Manual EP 80W-90 is a conventional gear oil from the TRANSMAX line for manual gearboxes and moderately loaded gears. It is used in cars and commercial vehicles where the manufacturer specifies an 80W-90 viscosity at GL-4 level.

The oil is rated API GL-4 and holds official MAN 341 Type Z2, ZF TE-ML 02B and ZF TE-ML 17A approvals, so it also suits ZF and MAN gearboxes with those requirements.

Typical figures: 14 mm²/s at 100 °C and 133 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 102, pour point -33 °C, flash point 236 °C, density 890 kg/m³.

Application
