Description

Castrol TRANSMAX Manual V 75W-80 is a fully synthetic gear oil from the TRANSMAX line, with a reduced viscosity that cuts friction losses. It is intended for manual gearboxes, transfer cases and final drives; the oil maker recommends it for five- and six-speed VW, Audi, SEAT and Skoda manual gearboxes.

The oil is rated API GL-4 Plus and holds official VW TL 52532-A and VW TL 52532-B approvals. It meets the requirements of VW G 052 171, VW G 052 512, VW G 052 527, VW G 052 532, VW G 055 532 and PSA B71 2316 without formal approval.

Typical figures: 8.1 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 151, pour point -60 °C, flash point 220 °C.
