Description
Elf Moto 4 Rider 10W-40 is an engine oil for four-stroke motorcycles ridden every day in heavy traffic with frequent stops. It protects the wet clutch and works with all fuel types, including ethanol blends.
The oil is rated API SP and JASO MA2 and is registered with JASO; the data sheet lists no motorcycle manufacturer approvals.
Friction on steel and aluminium clutch plates is stable, so gears change smoothly. Detergent-dispersant additives counter piston deposits. Typical figures: 14.1 mm²/s at 100 °C and 95 mm²/s at 40 °C, flash point 229 °C. Available in 1 and 4 litre packs.
