Description
Elf Tranself NFX 75W is a gear oil from the Tranself line for manual gearboxes in Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance vehicles, synthetic according to its maker. It eases gear changes in cold weather and protects the synchronisers.
The oil meets API GL-4 and holds official Renault approvals for the SX, JXX, TLX, NDX, NDK1, PXX and DBx gearboxes, as well as MB 235.17 approval. According to the manufacturer’s data sheet, it replaces Tranself NFP and Tranself NFJ in these gearboxes.
Typical data-sheet figures: kinematic viscosity 6.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 168, pour point -45 °C. Available in packs from 1 to 208 litres.
