Description

Liqui Moly High Performance Gear Oil (GL4+) SAE 75W-90 is a fully synthetic gear oil for manual gearboxes and auxiliary units working under high load. Its German name is Hochleistungs-Getriebeöl (GL4+) SAE 75W-90.

It is classified API GL-4 Plus. It holds no car-maker approvals; the manufacturer states that it meets the requirements of VW 501.50, Ford ESD-M2C175-A and ZF TE-ML 08.

Typical data-sheet figures: viscosity 94 mm²/s at 40 °C and 15.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 175, pour point -60 °C, flash point 200 °C. Pack sizes 0.5, 1, 20 and 60 litres.

Application

Heavily loaded manual gearboxes, transfer cases, transaxles and hypoid drives that call for an API GL-4+ oil; also gearboxes with stiff or noisy gear changes.
