Description

Liqui Moly Top Tec ATF 1400 is a synthetic fluid solely for CVTs with a steel belt or chain, not a conventional fluid for stepped automatics. Its formulation emphasises foam control.

It holds no official approvals. The manufacturer states that it meets Nissan NS-2, Nissan NS-3, Toyota CVTF FE, Toyota TC, Honda HCF-2, Honda HMMF, Subaru Lineartronic CVTF, Subaru Lineartronic CVTF II, Mitsubishi CVTF-J1, Mitsubishi CVTF-J4, Hyundai/Kia SP-CVT 1, Ford MERCON C, GM/Saturn DEX-CVT, Jeep CVTF+4, Suzuki CVT Fluid Green 2, VW G 052 180, VW G 052 516 and MB 236.20.

Typical figures: viscosity 7.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 185, pour point -45 °C. Pack sizes from 1 to 205 litres.

Application

Continuously variable transmissions (CVT) with a steel push belt or chain, such as Audi Multitronic, Autotronic in the Mercedes-Benz A- and B-Class, and many Asian CVTs.
