Description

Mobil Delvac Modern 5W-30 Extreme Protection is a low-ash, synthetic-technology oil in the Mobil Delvac Modern range for current truck diesels fitted with a particulate filter.

Official approvals: DTFR 15C110, Volvo VDS-4.5, Renault Trucks RLD-3, Mack EOS-4.5, MAN M 3775, DDC DFS 93K222, Cummins CES 20086, Deutz DQC IV-18 LA. It is rated API CK-4, ACEA E8 and E11 and JASO DH-2, and ExxonMobil recommends it where ACEA E6 or E9 is specified. Without formal approval, it meets the requirements of CAT ECF-3, DAF Extended Drain and Iveco 18-1804 TLS E6.

Sulphated ash 0.97 %, base number 10.5 mg KOH/g, 11.8 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 159, pour point -42 °C.

Application

Daimler Truck diesel engines requiring DTFR 15C110 and other light, medium and heavy trucks with particulate filters; where ultra-low-sulphur fuel is sold, also engines without a filter.
