Description

Mobilube HD 85W-140 is a hypoid gear oil from the Mobilube range for axles and final drives in trucks, commercial vehicles and off-highway machinery. It is designed for gears working under extreme tooth pressure and shock loads.

The oil is rated API GL-5. The data sheet lists no equipment-maker approvals.

Typical figures: viscosity 27.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 97; after the 20-hour KRL shear stability test the viscosity is 27 mm²/s.

Application

Axles and final drives in trucks, commercial vehicles and off-highway machinery operating under extreme tooth pressure and shock loads.
