Description

Liqui Moly Hypoid Gear Oil (GL5) SAE 85W-140 is a high-viscosity mineral gear oil for heavy-duty vehicle transmissions, above all hypoid gearing.

It carries API GL-5, the MIL-L-2105D approval and official approvals ZF TE-ML 16D and ZF TE-ML 21A (approval number ZF005974). It meets the requirements of MIL-L-2105C without official approval.

Typical figures: 27.7 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 100, pour point -24 °C, sulphated ash 0.09 %, four-ball weld load 4000/4200 N. Available in 20, 60 and 205 litre packs.

Application

Heavy-duty vehicle transmissions, above all hypoid gearing, where an API GL-5 oil is specified.
