Description

Mobilube LS 85W-90 is a gear oil for limited-slip differentials, axles and final drives in cars, trucks, buses and off-highway equipment. It contains the friction modifier that a limited-slip differential needs in order to work properly.

The oil is rated API GL-5. It holds official ZF TE-ML 05C, ZF TE-ML 16E and ZF TE-ML 21C approvals and meets the requirements of ZF TE-ML 12C without a formal approval.

Typical figures: viscosity 15.3 mm²/s at 100 °C and 153 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 100, pour point -36 °C, flash point 216 °C, density 900 kg/m³.

It is not intended for gearboxes designed to run on engine oil or ATF.

Application

Limited-slip differentials, axles and final drives in cars, trucks, buses and off-highway equipment.
