Description

Liqui Moly Hypoid Gear Oil (GL5) LS SAE 85W-90 is a mineral gear oil for heavily loaded hypoid final drives, including those with a limited-slip differential. Friction modifiers prevent stick-slip of the clutch plates.

It carries API GL-5 and the MIL-L-2105D approval. It meets the requirements of GM B 40 1010, Volvo 97311, ZF TE-ML 05C and ZF TE-ML 21C without official approval.

Typical figures: 17.8 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 99, pour point -18 °C. Available in 1, 20, 60 and 205 litre packs.

Application

Heavily loaded hypoid final drives with or without a locking or limited-slip differential.
