Description

Castrol TRANSMAX Limited Slip LL 75W-140 is a fully synthetic hypoid oil from the TRANSMAX line for limited-slip and conventional differentials. It contains a friction modifier that keeps the limited-slip mechanism working smoothly.

The oil is rated API GL-5. It holds official approvals from BMW for rear axles with a limited-slip differential, and MB 235.61, ZF TE-ML 05C, ZF TE-ML 16G, ZF TE-ML 18 and ZF TE-ML 21C. It is also recommended, without formal approval, for the limited-slip rear axle of the Nissan GT-R.

Typical figures: 24.7 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 174, pour point -54 °C, flash point 228 °C.

Application

Limited-slip and conventional differentials, including BMW rear axles with a limited-slip differential and axles that require MB 235.61, ZF TE-ML 05C, ZF TE-ML 16G or ZF TE-ML 21C.
