Description

Mobilube HD-A 85W-90 is an API GL-5 gear oil for heavily loaded manual gearboxes, axles and final drives. It is used in cars, light trucks, commercial vehicles and off-highway machinery, and also in steering boxes and other hypoid gear sets.

It holds official ZF TE-ML 16C, ZF TE-ML 17B, ZF TE-ML 19B, ZF TE-ML 21A and DTFR 12B100 approvals. It meets the requirements of ZF TE-ML 07A without formal approval, and the oil maker recommends it for MAN 342 Type M1.

Typical figures: viscosity 17 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 99, pour point -24 °C, flash point 222 °C, density 900 kg/m³.

Application

Heavily loaded manual gearboxes, axles and final drives in cars, light trucks, commercial vehicles and off-highway machinery, including units covered by ZF and Daimler Truck approvals.
