Description

Motul 4100 PROTECT 10W-30 is a Technosynthese synthetic engine oil from the 4100 line. It is intended for conventional petrol and diesel engines in cars, pick-ups and light vans, carburetted or injected, naturally aspirated or turbocharged, and runs on petrol, LPG, flex-fuel and diesel.

The oil meets the API SL/CG-4 level; the data sheet lists no ACEA categories and no car-maker approvals. Motul stresses engine cleanliness and reduced oil consumption; the oil is compatible with catalytic converters.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 11 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 143, pour point -42 °C, base number 8.5 mg KOH/g. Available in 1, 4, 5 and 208 litres.

Application

Cars, pick-ups and light vans with conventional petrol and diesel engines, carburetted or injected, turbocharged or not, where an API SL/CG-4 level oil is sufficient.
