Description

Motul 2100 PROTECT+ 10W-30 is a Technosynthese synthetic engine oil from the 2100 line. It is intended for injected petrol engines with a catalytic converter and for naturally aspirated or turbocharged indirect-injection diesels where the maker specifies a 10W-30 viscosity, as in some Toyota, Kia and Nissan models.

The oil is rated API SL/CG-4; the data sheet lists no ACEA categories and no car-maker approvals. It suits city driving, motorway use and off-road work.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 10.9 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 146, pour point -33 °C, base number 9.8 mg KOH/g. Available in 1, 4 and 208 litres.

Application

Cars with injected petrol engines and a catalytic converter, and with naturally aspirated or turbocharged indirect-injection diesels, where the maker (for example Toyota, Kia, Nissan) specifies a 10W-30 oil at API SL/CG-4 level.
