Description
Motul ATF 236.14 is a fully synthetic fluid for the automatic gearboxes of Mercedes-Benz cars. It is intended for five- and seven-speed automatics, including the 7G-Tronic (NAG2), gearboxes in AMG models and units with a controlled torque-converter lock-up clutch.
The fluid holds official MB 236.14 approval; the data sheet lists no other specifications.
Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 6.6 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 192, pour point -54 °C, flash point 210 °C. Available in 1 and 60 litres.
Later Mercedes-Benz seven-speed gearboxes may call for a different fluid, so check the required specification in the owner's handbook.
Application
Mercedes-Benz cars, SUVs and light vans with rear-wheel or 4MATIC drive whose automatic gearbox needs MB 236.14: the 7G-Tronic (NAG2) seven-speed, AMG models and five-speed units with a controlled lock-up clutch.
