Description

Motul ATF VI is a red, fully synthetic, low-viscosity automatic transmission fluid. It suits modern 6- to 10-speed automatic gearboxes needing a GM Dexron VI level fluid, plus transfer cases and power steering.

The data sheet lists no official approvals. The fluid meets the requirements of GM Dexron VI, GM DEXRON HP ATF, Ford MERCON LV, MB 236.14, MB 236.41, ATF+4, Chrysler MS-9602, Aisin Warner JWS 3324, SP-IV, Nissan Matic S, Jaguar Fluid 8432 and a number of other specifications without official approval.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 6.1 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 152, flash point 217 °C. Available in 1 to 208 litres.

It is not intended for CVTs or dual-clutch transmissions.

Application

Modern 6- to 10-speed automatic transmissions that need a GM Dexron VI or similar fluid; also transfer cases and power steering systems.
