Description
Motul GEAR POWER LV 70W is a fully synthetic, very low-viscosity gear oil from the Gear Power line. It is intended for modern manual gearboxes, transaxles and transfer boxes without a limited-slip differential.
The oil is rated API GL-4; no car-maker approvals or claims of meeting their standards are listed.
Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 5.3 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 140, pour point -63 °C, flash point 212 °C. It stays in grade after the 20-hour KRL shear test. Available in 1 and 20 litres.
Use it only where the gearbox manufacturer specifies a 70W LV oil.
Application
Modern manual gearboxes, transaxles and transfer boxes without a limited-slip differential, for example in recent Opel, Hyundai, Kia and Fiat models.
