Description

Motul GEAR POWER 75W-80 is a fully synthetic gear oil from the Gear Power line for manual gearboxes, transaxles and transfer boxes that have no limited-slip differential.

It is rated API GL-4. It holds no official approvals but meets the requirements of BMW MTF 94 and MTF LT-2, Fiat 9.55550-MZ6, Honda MTF, MTF II and MTF III, Nissan MT-XZ and MT-XZ TL, and PSA B71 2330.

It stays in grade after the 20-hour KRL shear test. Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 10.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, pour point -51 °C, flash point 234 °C. Available in 1 litre.

Motul warns that some manual gearboxes are not designed for such a low viscosity; use it only where the manufacturer permits.

Manual gearboxes, transaxles and transfer boxes without a limited-slip differential, including many used by Alfa Romeo, Citroen, Fiat, Ford, Mazda, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault, Suzuki and VW.
