Description

NISMO COMPETITION OIL 2108E 0W-30 is a fully synthetic racing engine oil based on two types of ester, developed by Motul together with NISMO, Nissan's motorsport division. It is intended for naturally aspirated 3.5-3.7 litre VQ-series V6 engines.

The low 0W-30 viscosity grade gives a quick engine response to the throttle. No industry categories or car-maker approvals are stated for the oil.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 9.8 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 176, HTHS 3.2 mPa·s, pour point -36 °C, flash point 226 °C, base number 6.8 mg KOH/g. Available in 1 and 5 litres.

The drain interval is short, as for racing, and should be agreed with the tuner who looks after the engine.

Application

Naturally aspirated 3.5-3.7 litre Nissan and Infiniti V6 engines (VQ35DE, VQ35HR, VQ37HR) in the 350Z, Skyline, G35 and similar models, including tuned and drift cars.
