Description
Shell Advance SX 2 is an oil from the Advance line for two-stroke motorcycle engines. It is self-mixing, so it works both in separate oil injection systems and in fuel pre-mixed in advance. The maker claims engine protection, fewer exhaust deposits and less smoke.
The oil is rated JASO FB and ISO-L-EGB; the data sheet lists no official approvals from motorcycle manufacturers.
Typical figures: 8.9 mm²/s at 100 °C, 63.1 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 116, pour point -20 °C, flash point 122 °C, density 872 kg/m³.
It is not intended for outboard boat engines.
