Description
Shell Advance VSX 2 (FC/EGD) is a synthetic oil from the Advance line for two-stroke motorcycle engines, high-performance ones included, both air- and liquid-cooled. The oil comes pre-diluted and undyed; it is used both in separate oil injection systems and in pre-mixed fuel. The maker claims low smoke and fewer exhaust deposits.
The oil is rated JASO FC and ISO-L-EGD; the data sheet lists no official approvals from motorcycle manufacturers.
Typical figures: 7 mm²/s at 100 °C, pour point -20 °C, flash point 70 °C.
It is not intended for outboard boat engines.
Application
All two-stroke motorcycle engines with an oil injection system or running on pre-mixed fuel, including high-performance air- and liquid-cooled ones; not for outboard boat engines.
