Description
Shell Advance Ultra 2T is a synthetic low-smoke oil from the Advance line for powerful two-stroke motorcycle engines, racing engines included, and for snowmobiles operating down to -40 °C. It is based on polyisobutylene and Shell XHVI synthetic components; the oil already contains a hydrocarbon solvent, so it is self-mixing and suits separate oil injection systems.
The oil is rated JASO FD and API TC; it meets the requirements of ISO-L-EGD without an official approval.
Typical figures: 7.3 mm²/s at 100 °C, pour point -48 °C, flash point 70 °C.
It is not intended for outboard boat engines: for those the maker offers its Nautilus oils.
Application
Powerful air- or liquid-cooled two-stroke motorcycle engines, racing ones included, and snowmobiles down to -40 °C; separate oil injection systems. Not for outboard boat engines.
