Description

Shell Rotella T6 5W-40 is a fully synthetic low-ash engine oil for diesel engines, from long-haul tractor units to heavy pickups. Shell offers it for cold climates in place of thicker API CK-4 and CJ-4 oils and claims a 1.5 % fuel saving over them.

Classes: API CK-4, CJ-4, CI-4 Plus, CI-4 and CH-4, ACEA E9 and E11, JASO DH-2, MA and MA2. Approvals: Allison TES 439, CAT ECF-2 and CAT ECF-3, Cummins CES 20081 and Cummins CES 20086, DDC DFS 93K218 and DDC DFS 93K222, DTFR 15C100, Ford WSS-M2C171-F1, Mack EOS-4.5, MAN M 3575, Volvo VDS-4.5.
