Description

Mobil Delvac 1 SHC 5W-40 is a synthetic full-SAPS oil for European diesels, turbocharged or naturally aspirated. It is intended for long-haul and distribution work and for off-highway and marine equipment running at low engine speeds under heavy load, with extended drain intervals.

The oil holds official MB 228.5, MAN M 3277 and MTU Oil Category 3 approvals. Where Volvo VDS-2 or API CF or CE is required, ExxonMobil recommends it without formal approval.

Typical figures: base number 16 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 1.9 %, 14.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 176, pour point -45 °C.

Application

Turbocharged and naturally aspirated European diesel engines in long-haul and distribution work, in heavy low-speed, high-load off-highway use and in marine equipment; extended drain intervals.
