Description

Shell Spirax S6 ATF A668 is a fully synthetic extended-drain Spirax fluid for modern Allison automatic gearboxes in medium and heavy vehicles. It replaces fluids approved to Allison TES 295, TES 468 or TES 389.

It holds official Allison TES 668, DTFR 13C190, Voith H55.6335.xx and DANA-OHTM-ATF-X 22A-0004 approvals and is rated JASO 1A. Without formal approval, it meets GM Dexron II, GM Dexron III-G, GM Dexron III-H, Ford MERCON, MAN 339 Type V1, Volvo 97340, Volvo 97341 and CAT AT-1.

Typical figures: 6.9 mm²/s at 100 °C, pour point -51 °C, flash point 210 °C.

Application

Modern Allison automatic gearboxes in medium and heavy vehicles requiring TES 668, compatible with TES 295, 389 and 468 fluids; also some Voith gearboxes and older Dexron III or Mercon units in mixed fleets.
