Description

Shell Spirax S6 GXME 75W-80 is a synthetic Spirax gear oil for synchromesh truck gearboxes, including those with an integrated retarder, and for moderately loaded axles. It is designed for extended drain intervals and fuel economy.

The oil is rated API GL-4 and holds official MAN 341 Type E3, MAN 341 Type Z4, ZF TE-ML 01L, ZF TE-ML 02L and ZF TE-ML 16K approvals.

Typical figures: 9.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, 56 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 163, pour point -51 °C, Brookfield viscosity 30 000 mPa·s at -40 °C.

Application

Synchromesh truck gearboxes, including those with an integrated retarder, and moderately loaded axles, chiefly MAN and ZF units, on extended drain intervals.
