Description
Shell Spirax S6 ATF A295 is a fully synthetic extended-drain Spirax fluid for Allison automatic gearboxes in buses, lorries, municipal and emergency vehicles, motorhomes and heavy pick-ups.
It holds official Allison TES 295 and Allison TES 468 approvals, which permit extended drain intervals. Without formal approval, it meets ZF TE-ML 14A, 14B and 14C, MAN 339 Type Z3, DTFR 13C180 and CAT AT-1, and is also used in Voith DIWA gearboxes. It suits units previously filled with Dexron III or Mercon fluids, and mixed fleets.
Typical figures: 7.3 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 181, pour point -51 °C.
Application
Allison automatic gearboxes in medium and heavy vehicles requiring a TES 295 fluid: city and coach buses, municipal and emergency vehicles, lorries, motorhomes and heavy pick-ups; also some ZF and Voith gearboxes.
