Description

Shell Spirax S6 GXME Ultra 75W-80 is a synthetic Spirax gear oil for synchromesh truck gearboxes, including those with an integrated retarder, and for moderately loaded axles. It is designed for extended drain intervals and fuel economy.

The oil is rated API GL-4 and holds official DTFR 13D120, Voith Class C, Volvo 97307 and Volvo 97318 approvals. It meets DTFR 13B160, MAN 341 Type E4, MAN 341 Type Z4 and ZF TE-ML 02L without a formal approval.

Typical figures: 9.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, pour point -51 °C, Brookfield viscosity 20 900 mPa·s at -40 °C.

Application

Synchromesh truck gearboxes, including those with an integrated retarder, and moderately loaded axles in Volvo, Mercedes-Benz and other makes, plus Voith retarders, on extended drain intervals.
