Description
Motul MOTYLGEAR 75W-80 is a Technosynthese synthetic gear oil with extreme-pressure additives. It is intended for manual gearboxes, transaxles and transfer boxes without a limited-slip differential, including those with a stiff gear change.
The oil meets API GL-4 and GL-5 and the military specification MIL-L-2105D; no car-maker approvals are listed.
It stays in grade after the 20-hour KRL shear test. Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 10.1 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 164, pour point -51 °C, flash point 208 °C. Available in 1 to 208 litres.
The oil is not intended for limited-slip differentials.
Application
Manual gearboxes, transaxles and transfer boxes without a limited-slip differential, including stiff-shifting gearboxes and Peugeot, Citroen and Renault units.
