Description
77 Lubricants Autogear Oil GL-1 140 is a single-grade mineral SAE 140 gear oil without extreme-pressure (EP) additives. It is intended for manual gearboxes and rear axles of older design where the equipment maker calls for an oil of exactly this level.
It is rated API GL-1; the maker claims no vehicle manufacturer approvals and no compliance with other specifications.
Typical figures: viscosity 28.9 mm²/s at 100 °C and 420.1 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 95, pour point -15 °C, flash point above 201 °C.
