Description
Eni Rotra HY 140 is a single-grade SAE 140 gear oil from the Rotra line for the manual gearboxes, final reduction gears and power take-offs of farm and construction machinery. Its extreme-pressure additive is chosen so that it does not interfere with synchroniser operation.
The oil is rated API GL-4; it holds no official carmaker approvals.
Typical figures: viscosity 339.5 mm²/s at 40 °C and 25.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 96, pour point -15 °C, flash point 220 °C and density 913 kg/m³.
Application
Transmissions of farm and construction machinery (manual gearboxes, transaxles, final reduction gears, power take-offs) that call for a single-grade SAE 140 oil at API GL-4 level.
