Description

Mobilube GX 140 is a monograde gear oil of SAE 140 viscosity for heavily loaded manual gearboxes, axles and final drives. It is used in trucks, commercial vehicles and off-highway machinery where an API GL-4 oil of exactly this viscosity is specified.

The manufacturer recommends the GX series for API GL-4 applications. The data sheet lists no official approvals.

Typical figures: viscosity 30 mm²/s at 100 °C and 447 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 95, pour point -6 °C, flash point 260 °C, density 910 kg/m³.

Application

Heavily loaded manual gearboxes, axles and final drives in trucks, commercial vehicles and off-highway machinery where an API GL-4 oil of this viscosity is specified.
