77 Lubricants Engine Oil HDL 15W-40 is a multigrade mineral engine oil made from solvent-refined base oils, for heavy-duty diesel engines in trucks, buses and vans from Euro I to Euro V.

It is rated ACEA E7, API CH-4 and API SJ. It holds no official approvals; the maker claims compliance with Volvo VDS-3, Mack EO-N, Renault Trucks RLD-2, DTFR 15B110, MB 228.1, MAN M 3275, CAT ECF-1a, Cummins CES 20077, Deutz DQC-III and MTU Oil Category 2.

Typical figures: viscosity 14.3 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 139, base number 11 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 1.26 %, pour point -30 °C.

It is not for engines with a particulate filter.
