Description

77 Lubricants Engine Oil HDL 10W-40 is a multigrade semi-synthetic engine oil based on a blend of mineral and synthetic base oils. It is intended for heavy-duty diesel engines in trucks, buses and vans from Euro I to Euro III.

It is rated API CH-4 and API SL, ACEA A3/B4 and JASO DH-1. It holds no official approvals; the maker claims compliance with DTFR 15B110, MB 229.1, MAN M 3275 and MTU Oil Category 2.

Typical figures: viscosity 14.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 150, base number 11.1 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 1.26 %, pour point -33 °C.

It is not for engines with a particulate filter.

Application

Heavy-duty diesel engines in trucks, buses and vans from Euro I to Euro III without a particulate filter, for year-round use.
