77 Lubricants Motor Oil Synthetic 5W-40 is a fully synthetic full-SAPS engine oil for petrol and diesel engines in cars and vans.

The oil is rated API SP and ACEA A3/B4 and holds official MB 229.3, VW 502.00 and VW 505.00 approvals. It meets the requirements of MB 226.5, BMW Longlife-01, Renault RN0700, Renault RN0710, GM-LL-A-025, GM-LL-B-025 and Fiat 9.55535-M2 without formal approval.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 14.3 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 172, HTHS viscosity 4.1 mPa·s, pour point -36 °C, sulphated ash 1.3 %, base number 11.1 mg KOH/g.

It is not intended for diesel engines fitted with a particulate filter.
