  12. What oil should you put in a Mercedes?

Engine oils for passenger cars with an extended oil change interval (up to 30,000 km, per the carmaker’s recommendations). The requirements are somewhat stricter than those of the ACEA A3, B4 standards.

Engine oils approved to MB 229.3 are recommended for petrol engines of the M100 and M200 series, as well as for diesel engines of the OM600 series (except models fitted with a particulate filter).
