Description

Liqui Moly Special Tec LL 5W-30 is a hydrocracked full-SAPS engine oil for passenger cars. It is intended primarily for Opel/GM petrol and diesel engines and also suits earlier Opel models.

It is classified API SL and ACEA A3/B4 and holds official BMW Longlife-01, MB 229.5, VW 502.00 and VW 505.00 approvals. It meets the requirements of GM-LL-A-025, GM-LL-B-025, Renault RN0700 and Renault RN0710 without formal approval.

Typical figures: viscosity 12 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 165, HTHS at least 3.5 mPa·s, pour point -39 °C. With sulphated ash of 1.0-1.6 %, it is unsuitable where a low-ash specification for a particulate filter applies. Pack sizes from 1 to 205 litres.

Application

Petrol and diesel Opel/GM cars of older model years for which the maker specifies GM-LL-A-025 or GM-LL-B-025; other makes only where the oil requirements match.
