Description

Eni Gas Special 10W-40 is a multigrade engine oil developed for car engines that run on gaseous fuel: compressed natural gas (CNG) or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). Low volatility keeps oil consumption down.

The oil is rated API SN and API CF; the maker quotes neither manufacturer approvals nor claims to meet manufacturer requirements.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 92 mm²/s at 40 °C and 14.1 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 158, pour point -27 °C, flash point 224 °C.

Application

Cars running on compressed natural gas (CNG) or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
