Description
Eni i-Sint XEF 0W-16 is a very low-viscosity synthetic engine oil from the i-Sint line for modern petrol engines in cars, crossovers and vans, turbocharged and hybrid units included.
The oil is rated API SP RC and ILSAC GF-6B; the maker lists no manufacturer approvals. Its formulation guards against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) and against timing chain wear.
Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 7.3 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 170, pour point -42 °C.
ILSAC GF-6B is not backward compatible with earlier ILSAC categories, so the oil should be used only where the vehicle maker explicitly calls for 0W-16.
