Description
Liqui Moly Formula Super 10W-40 is a mineral universal oil for petrol and diesel engines, both naturally aspirated and turbocharged. Its diesel categories also make it suitable for mixed fleets.
It carries ACEA A3/B3, ACEA E3 and API SL/CG-4. It holds no official approvals; the manufacturer states that it meets the requirements of MB 228.1, MB 229.1, MAN 271 and Volvo VDS.
Typical figures: 14 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 159, HTHS at least 3.5 mPa·s, NOACK 13 %, base number 8.4 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 1.0-1.6 %, pour point -39 °C. Available in 1 and 5 litre packs.
