Eni i-Base 20W-50

Description

Eni i-Base 20W-50 is a higher-viscosity engine oil from the i-Base line for petrol and diesel engines in cars and commercial vehicles, including those that work in severe conditions. Its additive package is designed above all to protect against wear.

The oil is rated API SM and API CF. It holds no official manufacturer approvals; the maker states that it meets the requirements of MB 229.1, VW 501.01 and VW 505.00.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 18.7 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 132, pour point -24 °C, flash point 230 °C.

A 20W-50 oil belongs only in engines whose handbook allows this viscosity grade.

Application

Petrol and diesel engines in cars and commercial vehicles, including those in severe service, where the vehicle maker permits a 20W-50 viscosity grade.
