Description

Eni i-Sigma Bio tech 10W-30 is a synthetic engine oil from the i-Sigma top line for commercial-vehicle diesels, including those with systems that remove nitrogen oxides from the exhaust. It is blended from re-refined base oils and synthetic components made from renewable feedstock, and its sulphur content is reduced.

The oil is rated ACEA E4 and E7 and API CI-4. The list contains no official approvals: the maker states that it meets the requirements of MB 228.3.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 12.16 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 147, base number 12.3 mg KOH/g, pour point -36 °C, flash point 232 °C.
