Description

Eni i-Sigma performance E3 15W-40 is a multigrade engine oil from the i-Sigma performance line for commercial-vehicle diesel engines. It is intended for turbodiesels in severe service and on extended drain intervals, as well as for naturally aspirated engines in urban and suburban fleets and for turbodiesel cars.

The oil is rated ACEA E3 and API CG-4. The list contains no official approvals: the maker states that it meets the requirements of MAN M 3275-1, MB 228.1 and MTU Oil Category 2.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 14.4 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 140, pour point -27 °C, flash point 230 °C.

Application

Turbocharged diesel engines in severe service with extended drain intervals; also naturally aspirated diesels in urban and suburban fleets and turbodiesel cars.
