Description

Mobil Delvac Legend 15W-40 Heavy Duty is a semi-synthetic, full-ash entry-level oil in the Mobil Delvac Legend range for naturally aspirated and turbocharged diesels in trucks and off-road equipment.

It holds official MTU Oil Category 2 and DTFR 15B110 approvals and is rated API CH-4 and SJ. ExxonMobil also recommends it where the earlier ACEA E3 and B2 or API CG-4, CF-4, CF and SH levels are specified. It meets the requirements of Mack EO-M, MAN M 3275-1, Renault Trucks RD, Renault Trucks RD-2, Renault Trucks RLD and Volvo VDS-2 without formal approval.

Typical figures: 15.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 137, base number 8 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 1.1 %, pour point -33 °C.

Application

Naturally aspirated and turbocharged diesel engines in European, Japanese and American trucks and off-road equipment, in line with the owner's manual.
