Description

Eni i-Sint tech GMX 5W-30 is a synthetic engine oil for petrol engines, chiefly small-displacement turbocharged direct-injection units. It is intended for cars, SUVs and light vans from GM, Ford, Stellantis and Asian manufacturers.

The oil is rated API SQ RC and ILSAC GF-7A. According to its maker, it meets the requirements of GM dexos1 Gen 3, Ford WSS-M2C961-A1 and VWC 53034, without formal vehicle-manufacturer approval, and also suits engines that specify earlier generations of dexos1.

Typical figures: 10.3 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 167, pour point -39 °C, base number 7.2 mg KOH/g. The oil protects against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI).

Application

Petrol engines, especially downsized turbocharged direct-injection units, in GM, Ford, Stellantis and Asian cars, SUVs and light vans that specify dexos1 Gen 3, API SQ or ILSAC GF-7A.
