Description

Liqui Moly Molygen New Generation 5W-30 DPF is a synthetic mid-SAPS engine oil with the Molygen additive, intended primarily for cars with a particulate filter. Sulphated ash is capped at 0.8 % to protect the filter.

It carries ACEA C2 and C3 and API SN. It holds no official approvals; the manufacturer states that it meets the requirements of BMW Longlife-04, MB 229.31, MB 229.51 and MB 229.52, VW 505.00 and VW 505.01, GM dexos2, GM-LL-A-025 and GM-LL-B-025, Ford WSS-M2C917-A and Fiat 9.55535-S3, and the recommendations of GWM, HAVAL, Hyundai, Kia and Wuling.

Typical figures: viscosity 12.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 170, HTHS at least 3.5 mPa·s. Pack sizes 1, 4 and 205 litres.

Application

Petrol and diesel engines, including common-rail units, and above all diesel cars with a factory-fitted or retrofitted particulate filter that call for an ACEA C2 or C3 oil.
