Description
Eni Rotra MP/S 80W-90 is a gear oil from the Rotra line for the hypoid gears of limited-slip differentials and for axles whose brakes or clutches run in oil. A friction modifier prevents judder and stick-slip in the clutch packs.
The oil is rated API GL-5. It holds no official approvals; according to its maker, it meets the requirements of ZF TE-ML 05C, ZF TE-ML 12C, ZF TE-ML 16E and ZF TE-ML 21C.
Typical figures: viscosity 124.1 mm²/s at 40 °C and 13.9 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 105, pour point -33 °C, flash point 215 °C, density 901 kg/m³ and low-temperature viscosity 135,000 mPa·s at -26 °C.
