Description

Elf Evolution Full-Tech FE 5W-30 is a synthetic low-ash oil for diesel car engines with a particulate filter. Its main target is Renault models that call for the RN0720 standard.

It is rated ACEA C3 and C4 and holds official Renault RN0720, MB 229.51 and MB 226.51 approvals. It meets the requirements of Fiat 9.55535-S4 without formal approval.

The data sheet gives a viscosity of 12 mm²/s at 100 °C, a viscosity index of 174 and a pour point of -36 °C. In the M111 FE engine test the manufacturer quotes a fuel saving of 2.1 %. Drain intervals can reach 30,000 km where the vehicle manufacturer allows. Pack sizes from 1 to 208 litres.

Application

Euro 4 and Euro 5 diesel cars with a particulate filter, above all Renault models for which the manufacturer specifies RN0720.
